SALUTE TO ALL FOR THE MAGNIFICENT, HISTORIC TWO DAY STRIKE
More
than 20 crores of the working people of the country participated in the 2-day
strike on 8th & 9th January 2019 in pursuance to the
10 point charter of demands call for which was given by 10 Central Trade
Unions. We congratulate the working people of the country for this magnificent
show of unity and united action.
We can
proudly say that the Audit & Accounts Employees did contribute its mite in
this struggle.
Raipur
and Kolkata reported near total strike while Kerala, Bengaluru, AP&TS,
Punjab and Delhi saw strike paralysing the office functioning for two days. The
strike materialised in Tamil Nadu and Nagpur offices. Members of the Executive
Committees participated in the strike at Mumbai and Gwalior while Shimla
reported massive demonstration during lunch hour. P&T Audit, Nagpur also
reported successful strike for 2 days.
Reports
from various stations across the country show enthusiastic participation by the
Central Government employees as per the call of Confederation of Central Govt
Employees & Workers in the two day strike on 8-9 January 2019.
