Dear
Comrades,
STRIKE NOTICE
SERVED;
ENSORSE THE STRIKE
DECISION THROUGH
MASS MEETINGS ON 4TH JANUARY 2017;
START INTENSIVE
CAMPAIGN
The
HQr served the Strike Notice to CAG today. Copy of the strike Notice is
enclosed with this Circular. All the Units may endorse the same by holding
lunch hour mass meetings and adopting the resolution (draft resolution given
along with this circular). The resolution along with the copy of the strike
notice served by HQr to CAG may be handed over to the Head of the Department by
the Executive Committee. Report of the programme may please be mailed to HQr on
the same day.
The
Strike notice has two parts – Part I is the Charter on which the strike
decision has been taken by the Confederation where as Part II is the
departmental strike charter. Detailed note on each item in the Charter of
Demands is available in the Confederation website. On Part II, the HQr would
issue a detailed note on each of the item there-in.
As
we will see in the part II of the strike charter, a very deliberate and
retrograde move has been made by the CAG administration by delisting the cadre
of Auditor/Accountant and SA from the list of technical cadre. This single
action of CAG administration would have serious adverse impact on our demand
for higher pay scale for this cadre. Coupled with rationalisation of staff
Strength in Audit offices, the intention behind this nefarious move is quite
clear. We should take extra effort to take this message to the rank and file
along with the general issues. The struggle against the move of CAG
administration is becoming inevitable.
The
tour/campaign programme by HQr leaders has already been intimated - along with
that of Confederation leaders. As stated in Circular 32, all the Units are
requested to make use of the visit of the leaders for moblising the membership
for the strike on 15th February 2017.
With greetings,
Yours fraternally
M. S. Raja

General
Resolution

Association to join the one day strike on 15th February 2017 called
by Confederation of Central Government Employees & Workers in pursuance of
the Charter of Demands enclosed with the Strike Notice Served by the All India
Audit & Accounts Association to CAG of India.
This
meeting endorses the strike notice served by the All India Audit & Accounts
Association to Comptroller & Auditor General of India on 28th
December 2017 and here-by records our resolve to join the strike on 15th
February 2017 along with the rest of the working class of the country.
Resolve
to submit a copy of this resolution along with a copy of the notice served by
