the Association in its meeting on 1st October 2016 allocated quota
for each station for participation in the March.

about the details of the participation but few are yet to send the required

ANOMALY COMMITTEE
Agenda items
The Notification with regard to the
terms of reference of Anomaly Committee was issued followed by constitution of
the National Anomaly Committee. Items for the National Anomaly Committee are to
be submitted.
The Department had called for
nominations to Departmental Anomaly Committee and we have submitted the same. The
constitution of the Departmental Anomaly Committee is expected very soon.
We have also nominated our members
to the Departmental Anomaly Committee.
Our Units and Comrades are requested
to propose items for NAC as well as Departmental Anomaly Committee, separately.
1st Meeting
1st meeting of the
Anomaly Committee was held yesterday – the agenda was from the Government side
i.e. Disability Pension for the Defence Forces’ Personnel as per 7 CPC
recommendation.
The official side from Armed Forces
(there is no Union/Association for the lower level personnel, every where the
armed personnel are represented by Army/Navy/Air Force Chief or the officers
recommended by the Chief) wanted restoration of percentage system of pension
where as 7 CPC had recommended slab system. May be that the officers are
benefited when the disability pension is granted as percentage of their
pay/pension while the lower level personnel such as Sepoy to Subedar etc stand
to benefit under slab system.
The staff side contended that the
benefit that any section may be enjoying out of the recommendations of 7 CPC
should not be taken away by amending the recommendations.
Chairman, Anomaly Committee stated
that there will be another round of meeting to conclude the item.
With greetings,
Yours fraternally
