OBSERVE MAY DAY
The Working people around the world would be observing May Day on 1st
May this year too – the 126th May Day.
It is not just a commemoration of the struggle and sacrifice of the
leaders and workers of Chicago. It is life line of the workers
movement across the world. The struggle of the workers of Chicago for
8 hours work, 8 hours recreation and 8 hours rest gave hope and pumped
life into the hitherto scattered and sporadic struggle of workers for
better living conditions. The slogan became a universally accepted
